Deadly Mesothelioma

Do you readily recognize the word mesothelioma? Some unlucky residents of a small town in Italy now know what mesothelioma means as well.

If you are from the Northeast, you probably associate the word mesothelioma with asbestos victims and the old Johns Manville Corporation. Employees used to describe the dust level they worked in to be tantamount to "a pick-up truck on a dirt road", claiming there "was dust all over that building".

I started working there when I was very young. I realized later, how fortunate I was that I quit after only a few weeks. Others weren't so lucky.

An update on where the deadly disease of mesothelioma is making a new appearance.

Stop dwelling on a poor start.

Blood Spilled for Freedom

Pastor Paton discusses his visit to Philadelphia's Historic District:

"On the lawn opposite the Liberty Bell we were drawn to the display of combat boots and civilian shoes. A group had carefully arranged the boots: one pair for every fallen American soldier in the latest Iraq war per state. Next to a few of those boots were pictures of the dead soldiers.

I gulped with wet eyes at how once again this country has offered the cream of its youth to topple a tyrant and to give the Iraqi people a chance to be free."
